Welcome to Beaderette Beading — where every piece carries a story, a tradition, and a piece of my energy, heart and spirit. My name is Edith and I am the artist being the scenes.
My story was born from my deep loving Native grandparents who came together even though they were from different tribes that being Apache & Comanche. Also my mother marrying my father and his lineage coming from the Maya & Mvskoke Creek tribe. So I am proud to say I am blended in the best way ❤️— a love and passion for creativity was passed down through them, rich with meaning and craft.
Each piece is handmade, one at a time, honoring traditions that have shaped this beautiful art while bringing it into everyday wear. From delicate earrings to statement pieces, no two pieces are exactly alike — and that's exactly the point.
The craft of beading is a labor of love. Each design is hand-stitched with precision and patience, drawing on Native beading techniques that celebrate history and storytelling with some contemporary styles.
When people wear my beadwork I want them to feel Respected, Beautiful and Powerful. Being a Native woman business owner is one of my favorite titles. I hope to inspire our youth and give them an insight of what a few beads and thread can do.
